This fall, the Jacobs Family Foundation awarded seven grants to organizations within the Wellington community totaling $71,005. The grants were awarded to programs focused on education, at-risk youth, and athletics. The recipients are:
Short Stacks – Student memorial
Wellington Colts – Championship rings
Horses Healing Hearts – Rehabilitation program
Back to Basics – Student uniforms
Wellington High School Fire Academy – Program equipment
Wellington High School – Assisted Learning Program
Wellington Roller Hockey Association – Program equipment
